1. CAD Operator – Design Document Management responsibilities:
a) Manage as-builts and ensure repository has up-to- date drawing sets
b) Perform minor updates to as-builts after receipt from contractor
c) Assist CAD team with drawing updates as required
d) Generate CAD files from audit redlines
e) Provide testing support for custom CAD applications
f) Contribute to CAD process improvements on standards and procedures
g) Provide an additional level of interaction and information sharing between the primary
team and the CAD/BIM team
h) Support for tools development
i) Set up coordination layouts
j) Coordinate A/E fit-out drawing package before team’s review and approval
k) Create new AutoCAD blocks as required
l) Review consultant delivered drawings for in-flight changes driven by team
m) Ensure consultant delivered drawings/models have been done to customer standards
and update if required
2. Required skills:
a) Self-starter and able to multi-task and prioritize
b) Some familiarity with IT technology (not required to be a deep expert)
c) Able to self-manage their own workload
d) Able to work effectively within the customer culture, in multiple groups, facilitate video
conferences with multiple stakeholders or specialists; i.e. – reaching out to stakeholder in
other client groups for information, and managing design consultants as necessary.
e) Good researching skills (data is often times not obviously available)
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
