Florida A& M University (FAMU) College of Law Director of Admissions and Pre-law Programming Erika Hill, Ph.D., has been appointed to the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Mission and Impact Committee.

The appointment is set for a one-year term, with the anticipation of an extension for an additional year. All appointments will conclude in 2027.

The appointment acknowledges Hill's profound expertise in legal education and admissions, enabling her to play a pivotal role in LSAC's strategic initiatives that help influence law school access and enhance student success across the country. In her role as a committee member, she will contribute innovative ideas and infuse the enthusiasm needed to transform concepts into effective programs that serve the interests of future law students. This appointment enhances Dr. Hill's professional service portfolio and strengthens FAMU Law's standing within national legal education leadership circles.

“Dr. Hill’s appointment is a testament to the caliber of leadership and expertise we cultivate at FAMU Law,” said Cecil Howard, Associate Provost and Interim Dean of the College of Law. “Her insight and dedication to service in legal education will no doubt make a meaningful impact on the national landscape. We are proud to have her represent our institution on such an influential platform.”
