Your Role as a CT Radiographer As aCT Radiographerat UMMS, youll play a crucial role indelivering high-quality diagnostic imaging,ensuringprecision, patient safety, andfast, accurate results. Your responsibilities will include: - Operatinghigh-resolutionTomography / CT Imaging equipmentto producehigh quality diagnostic images
- Demonstrates clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro and Body
- Demonstrated ability tofix studiesin the private area in collaboration with EPIC
- Ensuringpatient safety, comfort & proper positioningprocedures
- Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Maintainingaccurate patient recordsand adhering to compliance standards
Qualifications
- Maryland Radiologic Technologist License(or eligibility)
- ARRT (CT) Certificationrequired
- BLS Certification
- Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and apassion for patient care & teamwork
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred
