Pay Range: $18/hour +$2 Shift Differential
Shift Available: 3:30pm-12am

Summary
As a Blending Operator, you will measure, weigh, and mix ingredients to create product blends. This job is important to ensure that our probiotic and enzyme products meet the right quality and safety standards. You will follow clear instructions, operate blending machines, and keep your work area clean and organized.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Blend Ingredients – Accurately measure and mix materials based on specific instructions.
  • Operate Machines – Run blending equipment safely and make small adjustments if needed.
  • Check Quality – Work with the quality team to make sure products meet company standards.
  • Keep Records – Fill out forms and reports correctly to track what you’ve worked on.
  • Wear required safety gear (such as gloves and a respirator), keep your area clean, and report any safety concerns.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle powder-based ingredients.
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy
  • Understand and adhere to ADM's Safety, Environmental Compliance and Food Quality and goal of achieving a zero-injury culture.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to complete various processes including weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, and storing products
Specific Skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Comfortable working in a clean, safety-focused environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Communication Skills – Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information to other employees.
  • Mathematical Skills – Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability – Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to handle problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
